Celebrity destination weddings are typically lavish and extravagant affairs – and when they come with a hefty million dollar price tag, you simply have to see it to believe it.
26 year-old model Xenia Deli (best known for starring in Justin Bieber's What Do You Mean? music video) tied the knot with millionaire Egyptian real estate mogul Ossama Fathi Rabah Al-Sharif, 62, earlier this month on the idyllic Greek island of Santorini. The damage? A reported one million euros. Talk about pulling out all the stops!
Clearly, money was no object – especially when it came to Xenia's bridal debut. The bride wore a Zuhair Murad couture wedding gown – a show-stopper that featured long sleeves embellished with lace, a sheer bodice, and full tiered skirt .
To complement the bride, Xenia's squad of bridesmaids wore blush pink gowns in different styles – all from the Walter Collection.
While no expense was spared for the celebrations, the ceremony was a relatively intimate one – taking place at sunset in a luxury winery Santo Wines in the village of Pyrgos with 150 guests in attendance. The couple exchanged vows under a canopy of fresh flowers, overlooking the Aegean Sea.
As day turned into night, the party continued indoors with a raucous reception dinner. The bride removed her full skirt to reveal a slinkier and sexier version of her wedding dress, fit for dancing. The pièce de résistance? A five-tiered wedding cake covered in delicate seashell meringues.
