There’s absolutely no denying it: Singaporeans looove their food. So it comes as no surprise that couples spend big bucks on only the best for their wedding day. After all, happy guests equal happy marriage; or is that happy wife, happy life? Never mind. Here are our wedding desserts of the moment, curated by wedding specialist and owner of The Wedding Scoop, Leana Doray.

A wedding without a show-stopping multi-tiered cake? Unthinkable! Luckily, there’s no need to compromise on style with gorgeous and unusual cake designs today like the unfrosted “naked” red velvet beauty. And gone are the days of stodgy fruit cakes covered in thick swathes of icing: choose from a mind-boggling array of delightfully (adult) flavours like lychee martini and Bailey’s chocolate crunch.

This one’s a no-brainer - everyone loves a generously frosted cupcake. Perfect as wedding favours, guests can also try their hand at honing their artistic skills at a frosting bar. Delish bite-size treats with your very own personalised designs? Yum!
